Keeping your pet(s) in their home environment,  provides an alternative to large boarding facilities where your beloved pet is boarded in a cage or dog  run. This can often lead to stress to your pet from the unfamiliar smells, sounds, animals and environment.  Furever Friends offers a stres-free alternative for your pets and for you.  We offer play-time, companionship, nurturing and making your pet feel as comfortable as possible in their own home.  

Who uses our services?

Some dogs require multiple walkings through out the day. Many professionals are gone for the majority of the day.  We offer walks throughout the day to keep your dog happy and active as well as companionship. Many families that want to get away at times will put off their trips because they do not want to leave their pet in a boarding facility or their pet requires medications administered.  We are experienced pet sitters that can alleviate your worry.  You can actually enjoy your vacation while your pet is in our care!

How do I get started with your service?

Schedule your free in house consultation and meet with the duo that will be caring for your pets. Introduction to your pets. Should you choose to go into contract with Furever Friends we will learn about your pets, fedding schedules and routines.  A set rate will be established and a contract will be drafted up.  At the time of the contract delivery we will need 2 copies of your home keys. .

Dogs

There will be a minimum of 2 visits for dogs.  If the pet parent would like to add additional walks we can customize the contract.  Recommended morning, noon and late evening.  

Cats

We require at least 1 visit but for multiple cats we recommend 2 visits.  

How much time do you spend at each visit with my pet?

The standard amount of time is 30-45 minutes. We do not time our visits we make sure that all the pets are properly fed, walked and cared for.  

How much notice do you need to care for my pets?

Holiday dates we require 1-2 weeks notice in order to book us.  Any other time we ask for atleast 48 hours notice.  We require a 24 cancellation.

Administiring medications?

We can administer oral, topical, and injectable medications (insulin for diabetics), as well as subcutaneous fluids. Please work with us to show us the best methods to administer your pet’s meds.

How is payment handled?

You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payment is to be made at the beginning of service. If you are a daily dog walking client, you will be asked to pay the first of the month.

What is done to protect my privacy?

Your information will ALWAYS remain confidencial.  Keys will be kept inside a lock box when not used.

What is Bonding?

We know that we are trustworthy and reliable, as are those whom we trust to act in our name, but we realize that to the client we are strangers. Bonding is our assurance to you that Furever Friends Pet Sitting is a responsible company and holds itself accountable for the actions of its agents. The insurance agreement that guarantees reimbursement to the client for any financial losses caused by fraudulent or dishonest acts by company representatives.

What does Insurance cover?

 Insurance covers any accidental damage that may occur to your property during the course of normal service.
